General
Dominex® 100 is a pyrethroid insecticide particularly active against caterpillars, thrips, aphids and industrial pests including flies, spiders, cockroaches and ants. Dominex® 100 provides a rapid knockdown combined with a good residual effect. Because Dominex® 100 is not systemic, good coverage is essential to obtain control.
Application
Ground rigs: - Apply in sufficient water to obtain good coverage. Depending on the size and type of crop, this will be between 400 and 800 L of water per hectare.
Aerial application: - use at least 10 L of water per hectare. If possible, spray in a cross wind. Avoid spraying in calm airs.
Compatibility
Compatible with most commonly used pesticides.
Resistance Management
This is a Group 3 Insecticide. Resistance to this pesticide may develop from excess use. To minimise this risk use strictly in accordance with label instructions.
Diamond back moth caterpillars – avoid using this insecticide exclusively all season and avoid unnecessary spraying. Maintain good cultural practices.
Tomato fruitworm - Do not apply before the 7th of January and avoid unnecessary spraying. Maintain good cultural practices.
Aphids – If necessary to spray twice for aphids, use an insecticide with a different mode of action. Do not use a synthetic pyrethroid.
If Tomato fruitworm is present in a squash crop prior to 7th January, do not spray Dominex® 100 in line with the Tomato fruitworm strategy above.
Mixing
Pour the required quantity into the partly filled spray tank with agitation running, and complete filling of the tank. Add a non-ionic wetting agent when spraying alone on hard to wet crops.
