General Application
Octave® is a DMI fungicide which may be applied as a spray treatment to Ornamentals and Stonefruit, as a dip treatment to Ornamentals and a drench treatment in Mushrooms.
Resistance: Resistance to this and other DMI products could develop in some disease situations from repeated use. To minimise this risk use strictly in accordance with label instructions.
It is an offence to use this product on animals.
Compatibility
Octave® is compatible with most commonly used insecticides and fungicides. DO NOT mix with strongly alkaline materials such as Bordeaux mixture and lime sulphur.

Mixing Instruction
Thoroughly premix the required amount with a little water to form a slurry. Add water whilst agitating. For spray treatments maintain agitation while mixing and applying. Also agitate thoroughly after a stoppage before recommencing spraying. Use immediately after mixing.
Storage & Disposal
STORAGE: Store in original container tightly closed and in a locked dry, cool, well ventilated area, away from foodstuffs. When stored appropriately this product should show no significant degradation for 2 years from the date of manufacture. Contact your supplier for further information about the use of this product if it is older than this.
SPILLS AND DISPOSAL: When dealing with spills wear personal protective clothing and equipment as described in the
PERSONAL PROTECTION: Sweep up spilled material, collect and store in properly labelled, sealed drums for safe disposal. Avoid creating dust. If spray mixture is spilled, contain and absorb in suitable inert absorbent material and collect in drums as above. Deal with all spillages immediately. If contamination of drains, streams, watercourses, etc. is unavoidable, warn the local water authority.
DISPOSAL: Dispose of this product only by using according to the label or at an approved landfill. Avoid contamination of any water supply with product or empty container.
CONTAINER DISPOSAL: Ensure container is completely empty. Burn if circumstances, especially wind direction, permit. Otherwise bury in a suitable land fill.
Safety Directions
FIRST AID: If swallowed DO NOT induce vomiting. For advice, contact the National Poisons Centre 0800 POISON (0800 764 766) or a doctor immediately. If skin contact occurs, remove contaminated clothing and flush skin with running water. If splashed in eyes, wash out immediately with water, if irritation persists get medical advice. If inhaled move the victim to fresh air immediately.
PERSONAL PROTECTION: DO NOT eat, drink or smoke while using. Wear protective clothing such as impervious gloves, waterproof hat, coat and trousers when using. Remove protective clothing and wash hands and face thoroughly before meals and after work. May be harmful if swallowed, inhaled or absorbed through the skin. Avoid contact with the eyes.
