Benevia® - superior protection against Potato pests
Benevia® insecticide provides protection against Potato pests. Benevia® is an anthranilic diamide (group 28) insecticide which provides a new tool in your Potato insecticide rotation programme for sucking insect control in Potatoes, Onions and Tomatoes.
Benevia® stops Potato pests feeding quickly thereby reducing the possibility of Zebra chip disease by quickly stopping the feeding of Tomato potato psyllid. Other target pests include Onion thrips, Potato tuber moth, Heliothis and Aphids.
Benevia® is most effective as a preventative chemical and should be applied during the tuber initiation and development stage through the tuber development and flowering stage for the greatest effect on Potato pests. Applying Benevia® earlier in development helps to produce a better quality crop.
