Altacor® for superior control of Apple pests
While most existing insecticides work on the nervous system of pests, Altacor® insecticide works on the muscle fibers to help control Apple pests. By precisely targeting Apple pests, Altacor® minimizes its effects on beneficial arthropods and mammals. The chemistry in Altacor® stops feeding within minutes and causes mortality within 72 hours.
Altacor® is effective on all sizes/stages of Caterpillar pests but, should be aimed at eggs/small larvae for best results. Altacor® is also affective against Codling moth, and Leafroller. The residual protection can last anywhere from 14-21 days depending on environmental conditions, further protecting your crops against Apple pests.
